Financials

The investment for a ticket is $88.00 unless discounted by KINaKIN.

Tickets are non-refundable however may be transferred to an alternative Local Gathering date if requested prior to 7 days before booked gathering date.

If exceptional circumstances arise within 7 days prior to the booked Local Gathering, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the KINaKIN Director – Sarah Mack.


Confidentiality

2.1 Group Confidentiality

Everything shared within the group sessions is to be treated with respect and confidentiality. All participants agree that what is shared at the gathering remains within the group. We all respect the privacy and vulnerability of others. No meetings after the meeting y’all.

Your personal information and experiences will not be shared with others without your consent, except where required by law or where there is a risk to yourself or others.

The facilitator is a mandated notifier. This means they are legally required to report any suspected or known abuse and/or neglect of children, elders or dependent adults to the appropriate authorities.

 

2.2 Anonymous Testimonial Permission

From time to time, reflections, feedback or testimonials shared by attendees may be used to help others understand the nature and impact of this work.

You acknowledge that the facilitator may request permission to share your feedback or experience as a testimonial.

If permission is given, the testimonial will be shared in a way that protects your identity, such as:

-          first name only

-          initials

-          ‘attendee or ‘participant’

Personal identifying details will NOT be shared without your explicit consent.

Attendees are welcome to decline the use of their words/experience as testimonial. Doing so WILL NOT affect your experience in any way.


Scope of Practice

Local Gatherings are not therapy, counselling, medical treatment or psychological diagnosis.

While the experience we have together may be deeply supportive and transformative, it is not intended to replace professional medical, psychological or therapeutic advice.

The facilitator (and the other attendees) are not a medical practitioner or registered therapist and if your needs are beyond the scope of my expertise as facilitator I may refer you on to a different professional.


Emotional Safety

Gatherings may explore personal experiences, emotions and beliefs. You are always encouraged to move at a pace that feels safe for you.

You are always welcome to ask questions or decline involvement in any process that does not feel aligned for you.


Participation

The depth of of your experience is closely connected to your willingness to participate, reflect and apply what emerges for you during the gathering.

In attending, you agree to approach it with openness, curiosity and personal responsibility for the outcomes that result.
